Company description

Chevron is one of the world’s largest energy companies, and is integrated into all aspects of the oil and gas industry, from exploration and production right through the value chain. They are currently engaged in over 100 countries, employing over 62,000 staff. In 2008, they produced an average of 2.53 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Chevron Europe is headquartered in Aberdeen, and their upstream operations in Norway are based in Oslo. They include the Draugen field, which is operated by Shell, as well as several other licences on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
